Now it depends on your weapon style/character build which is better. So you will be less protected in it, but deal more damage. The Ammolite armor provides less defense, but has a total of 20% physical damage increase on it. The Blue Sand Armor is a very good heavy armor - it cripples your magic use and a little bit of your stamina, but provides very good defensive stats, especially 25 resistance to every element.
